Small town romantic suspense
The Fairfield Series is the first series that I wrote. I had once read a story about a group of couples getting together in a bar and I had an idea of what a blind-date gone poorly would be like in that situation. From that seed, Emm’a Home was born. I had no idea if anyone would buy it, read it, or even like it! I am proud to say that Emma’s Home made Amazon Best Seller list (2 times) in 3 different categories. By the time I finished writing Emma’s Home, I knew that the two other couples in the book needed to have their stories told also. Therefore, Laurie’s Time and Carol’s Image were written next. In order to write their beginnings, I had to “go back in time”.
The books are stand-alone novels, can be read in any order, each with its own Happily Ever After.
Emma Dodd moved to Fairfield to teach and be with her niece. Not to fall in love. But detective, Jake Campbell had other ideas as soon as he saw the beauty. When her high school students discover drugs in the town, he works to keep her safe and in his heart.
Laurie Dodd wanted to focus on her elementary school students…not the handsome fireman with the player reputation. Rob McDonald was ready to settle down and one look at the beautiful teacher was all it took for him to fall.
When detective, Tom Rivers, is rescued by the nurse who disappears, he searches to find the angel. Finding her, he works to become the man she deserves. When a criminal becomes infatuated with the pretty nurse, Tom vows to keep her safe.
Jean Roberts, a widow, was not looking for another love. Retired Army sergeant, Brock Sinclair, felt the same. But when they met, both felt the sparks neither were looking for, and they cannot resist the pull. When an arsonist threatens her, Brock will fight to save her.
